How do I pay in installments? 💵

We're offering payment by installments at 0% interest rate with hoolah. We've written a detailed explanation on using hoolah on this page.

 

How much do you charge for shipping? 🛳

• Within Singapore: Free above $30, otherwise a flat rate of $5
• Everywhere else: Flat rate of $5

 

Do you ship worldwide? 🌎

Yes, we do! 

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, mailing to certain countries and territories is restricted. Refer to this document for the full list of restricted countries and territories. If you see your country here, please refer to this page - if EMS is ticked for your country, we are now able to ship to you (updated Nov 2020)!

Where is your matcha from? 🇯🇵

Our tea leaves are sourced exclusively from Uji, Kyoto, and processed in the neighbouring Joyo city.

 

How long does my order take to arrive? 🕙

1-2 weeks.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shipping lines have been delayed.

Our matcha is made fresh upon order, the tencha is ground in the stone mill before it is custom-packaged, and this process may take up to a week. 

 

What is ceremonial grade matcha? 🍵

Ceremonial grade matcha, unlike its culinary grade counterpart, is ideal for drinking hot and without any other ingredients.

 

Do I need a matcha whisk? 🤔

While a bamboo whisk (chasen) is recommended for best tea consistency, a milk frother or shaker works too.

 

What are the health benefits of matcha? 👩🏻‍⚕️

Matcha is rich in EGCG, which is known for its cancer-fighting properties. It is also high in antioxidants and dietary fiber. Matcha may boost brain function and help with weight-loss as well.
